All units manufactured in 2012 will be 1.2. Can be set for commonly open circuit or commonly closed circuit. Suitable for Powercommander 5 together with all other ECU’s and Quickshifters on the market.
BMW S1000RR PQ8 Plug and Play Precision Quickshifter is ready.
BMW’s original quickshifter built into the ECU is not suitable for track use so we have been asked by leading race shops worldwide to build a standalone PQ8 for it. This kit completely bypasses the original ECU and as all other PQ8 units it calculates what kill time to use and smooth starts the engine after each up shift, and the sensor is a strain gauge.

Up shift and downshift analogue signal, for advanced ECU’s that can blip the throttle at downshifts, such as Marelli, Motec, MotoGP and WSBK ECUs.
Can be ordered with HRC connector for Plug and Play use with HRC ECU and wiring harness. Tested and approved by ex MotoGP rider WSBK team owner Johan Stigefelt.
Filip Backlund wins Pro Superbike 2011 with an amazing 10 race wins in one season
Both of Filip’s bikes are equipped with Cordona GP SG.
Robert Gull, ex Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, purchases a PQ8 Combo GP SG for his CBR1000RR Superbike and lowers his personal best with 2.0 sec at Anderstorp Raceway.
Robert has tried several brands of Quickshifters, but never been able to get them to work properly at his blindingly fast pace.
With the PQ8 Combo GP SG the team just installed it; got a thumbs up from Robert on his first lap, and never touched the PQ8 after that.
Robert came 2nd in his first race with the PQ8, his best result so far.
